Had a great week so far:

Like my Wes-a-thon pairing.
Shag came home from California, will update his site once Duyba gives me the pictures. The man loves his digital camera as much as I do. :-)
Simpsons Season 3 DVD came out. whoo-hoo!
And Best of All
"The person who lives with me" got a job! After 8 months, they're finally employed again.

So why am I moping about, depressed like a sixteen year old? Is it my allergies? Am I sick again? Where is all of my energy? I should be bouncing around, but I'm just...

Gunn and Wesley are hanging out at Gunn's place, watching as Gunn's ferret chases a moth madly around the room.

"So alias_lilacgirl has less than a month to finish the big epic featuring the both of us."

"Well, less then that. She needs to send it off to be beta'd then corrected and all by August 1st. It ain't going to happen."

The ferret jumped up on the table, then onto the lamp. Both of them watched as it tipped over and the ferret scurrying on.

"If she sits down and seriously works on it, it could happen."

"Yeah, like she could have that book club book read before Friday, but we all know she won't."

The ferret dashed off into the other room, severing them of their entertainment.

"She could always post the story she wrote with me and Giles. The one she thought was really good, but wasn't."

Gunn got up and went into the kitchen, "Then why would she submit it if it wasn't any good?"

"Because she feels compelled to submit something. God knows, she won't win."

Gunn smiled, "Always the optimist, huh?" He took out two beers and handed one to Wesley.

"I'm a realist and realistically she is a mediocre author. Its not bad, but she is just average and not prize winning quality. Her goal is to simply entertain."

A loud crash was heard from the bedroom and the moth with the pursuing ferret came back out into the living room.

"Why do you have a ferret, any way?" Wesley asked.

"theferretgirl gave her too me. I'm trying to teach her how to scramble through air ducts and open doors." He cocked an eye brow, "It'll be usefull in our line of work."

"What's her name?"

"I dunno. theferretgirl hasn't told me yet."

Wesley just shook his head and sipped his beer.

Hello, I am alias_lilacgirl conscious. I am the little voice which tells her right from wrong. Sane from insane. Stupid from intelligent. I told her not to create this journal. But princesstwilite said it was a creative idea. So now this journal exists.
